From application code
to production.

I'm a Senior Fullstack Developer and DevOps engineer with a current focus on Java backends, enterprise modernisation and cloud-native platforms. My work connects application development with the decisions needed to run it reliably.

At Micromata, that means moving business-critical Java EE and WebLogic systems to Azure and Kubernetes, planning data migration and making recovery testable. Previously at POLYAS, I worked across Kotlin APIs, React interfaces and the platform that delivered them.

I stay hands-on from technical design to production changes, and turn migration decisions into clear delivery plans, tests and runbooks.

Senior Development Engineer

Java engineering, cloud migration and production delivery for business-critical enterprise systems.

  • Led the migration of a critical Java EE/WebLogic application to Azure Kubernetes Service, defining the sequence, data safeguards and technical go/no-go assessment.
  • Designed Cassandra backup and restore workflows with Azure Files and validated recovery in a reference environment.
  • Standardised local and CI integration testing with Jenkins, Maven and kind; supported production changes with executable runbooks and rollback scenarios.

Product development and platform engineering for online election software.

  • Led the move from Docker Compose to managed Kubernetes on Azure and Open Telekom Cloud, replacing manual capacity adjustments with automated scaling.
  • Built a Terraform and Argo CD provisioning workflow for dedicated Kubernetes clusters, with centralised logging and Prometheus monitoring.
  • Delivered Kotlin backend features and customer-facing React controls in a Storybook design system, and coached colleagues on Kubernetes practices.
